HKCF successfully organized the "Hong Kong Children Foundation Family Charity Fun Run 2018" in Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village on April 14, 2018. Officiating parties included Mr. Ma Fung-kwok, SBS, JP, Legislative Council Member; Mr. Kyran Sze, our Honorary Chairman and Chairman of KYSS Properties; Ms. Szeki Yeung, Parent Volunteer Ambassador; Miss Kacey Wu, Hong Kong child star; and a group of social welfare institution officials and management. All joined Mr. Terry Tsui, our Executive Chairman, to cheer for participating parents and children.

A total of about 1,000 parents and children participated in the charity fun run. About half of them came from grass-roots or families-in-need who joined the event for free. Partnered schools and social welfare institutions included New Home Association, Hong Kong Single Parent Association, CODA Hong Kong, Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, Gifted Education Foundation, Hong Kong Treble Choir, Lok Sin Tong Lau Tak Primary School, Lok Sin Tong Yeung Chung Ming Primary School and Tin Shui Wai Methodist College.

Teachers and students of Citizens’ Club at Diocesan Girls' School have joined us to hold a colorful "Easter Fun Day" for children of Hong Kong Children's Foundation on Easter Eve! DGS volunteers especially prepared a series of interactive games to play with the children on the campus. Everyone was happy with the crafts handmade for friends and families! Thank you for their sincerest guidance and support!

We are happy to have invited Mr. Kyran Sze, HKCF Honorary Chairman and Chairman of KYSS Properties; Mr. Armstrong Lee, our Honorary President; Dr. Chan Ka-wai, our Honorary Advisor; Ms. Szeki Yeung, our Parent Volunteer Ambassador and Miss Hong Kong Pageant; and Ms. Kacey Wu, rising child star to be our guest of honours in our ceremony. Mr. Terry Tsui, our Executive Chairman, aspires that the Parent Volunteer Team can gather a group of empathetic and enthusiastic parents and help organizing events, providing support, materials, counselling and technical workshops to families-in-need for relevant ideas and experiences sharing. The annual "1 Child: 1 Parent Volunteer" plan will focus on continuously supporting the physical and mental development of children and promoting family harmony.

Hong Kong Children Foundation Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on January 13, 2018. Among 24 tables of guests, we are pleased to have the presence and support from Mrs. Selina Chow, GBS, OBE, JP, the Honorable Chairlady of the Liberal Party; Mr. Michael Tien, BBS, JP, Legislative Council member of HKSAR; Mr. Zhang Zong-Ming, Deputy Inspector of the Department of Educational, Scientific and Technological Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government of HKSAR; Ms. Yang Xiaochan, Deputy Director General of New Territories Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR; and Mr. Peter Shiu, Legislative Council member of HKSAR etc.. We are happy to have shared the joy with our Honorary chairs, presidents, advisors, ambassadors and members of the executive committee too. They were awarded with letters of appointment, promised to serve the Foundation and contribute to our society.
